Felix LA returns with an all-local edition taking place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel from July 29—August 1. Coinciding with LA Art Week, this intimate iteration of the contemporary art fair, presented in partnership with Boxed Water,will see 29 Los Angeles galleries in an indoor-outdoor setting.
Fairgoers can expect to view art in and around the pool’s open-air cabanas, while music by Insomniac LTD plays poolside. Within this picturesque and personal format, viewers will find presentations by Meriem Bennani; Aaron Garber-Maikovska, Daniel Dwear, and Grégory Gicquel with CLEARING; Emma Soucek on view with Parrasch Heijnen Gallery; a group presentation by Roberts Projects with names like Betye Saar and Lenz Geerk; and Anat Ebgi’s showcase of works that explore themes like memory, voyeurism, and psychological states.
This year’s downsized edition will also see a number of first-time participants, including galleries like Gagosian, François Ghabaly, David Kordansky Gallery, and Blum and Poe, as well as newcomer exhibitors like Grice Bench, Tanya Leighton, Nicodim Gallery, Michael Benevento, Various Small Fires, M+B,and Château Shatto, to name a few.
