This week from February 17—20, the SPRING/BREAK Art Show returns to Los Angeles with more than 50 exhibitions surrounding the theme “HEARSAY:HERESY.” Debuting with a preview on February 16, the third LA edition of the curator-led fair takes place for the first time within the former factory site of Skylight Culver City.
We’re keeping our eye out for the first-time solo presentation by artist and actress Alia Shawkat; a show of satirist Jerry Gogoian’s first-ever artworks; Ronan Day-Lewis’s debut solo exhibition; and work by the fashion icon and artist Maripol. Other presentations have been conceived by curators like Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Leila Wahba and Seline Camli Anjel, Zahra Sherzad, Transformer, Casey Jex Smith, Heinz Patatzki, The Untitled Space, Nora Lucia Boyd, Ankita Mukherji and Elisabeth Smolarz, and LaiSun Keane.
Felix Art Fair will be returning to Los Angeles’s Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this week from February 18—20.
