Mary Heilmann: Past Present Future

Accessible online and in-person, Mary Heilmann’s “Past Present Future” features a selection of paintings, furniture, and ceramics dating from the 1970s to the present day. Bearing evidence of the artist’s ongoing inspirations throughout the years—in particular the landscape and surf culture of the West Coast—viewers will find a new series of paintings made during the COVID-19 pandemic, a digital work accompanied by a musical soundtrack from 2006 titled Her Life, and more.
