The group exhibition “Hit et Nunc” is on view through July 3 at Galería Le Laboratoire, Mexico City. Featuring work by Georgina Bringas, Fernando Garcia Correa, Alejandro Magallanes, Mario Núñez, Manuel Rocha Iturbide, and Roberto Turnbull, the show explores renewed discursive practices non-linear from our current reality.
“Hit et Nunc,” meaning here and now, shows paintings, photography, and atypical media—like cotton thread on canvas, marble, cutting laser, paint-dipped books, and wood inlaid with bones—to unveil visions of “territories that respond to an unprecedented situation,” said the Mexico-based artist Francis Alÿs.
