For the Milan Design Week, Carl Hansen & Søn presents their relaunch of the Windsor Chair FH38 at the Milan Flagship Showroom. The iconic chair, designed in 1938 by architect and cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen, was in production at Carl Hansen & Søn until 2003; the furniture company has now relaunched it with a comfortable and stylish seat cushion. The chair is as topical today as it was when it originated 300 years ago in Buckinghamshire, England. The lightly curved and slanted back and oblique legs is as classic as it is modern. The Windsor Chair, relaunched to coincide with Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, showcases the artisanal excellence which defines Carl Hansen & Søn.
