MASSIMODECARLO is presenting a site-specific exhibition by the artist Danh Vō from September 7—November 6. Created within the Milan/Lombardia gallery during the days leading up to the show, the works follow Vō’s practice, which looks at historical, social, and political issues through a lens of personal experience. Often utilizing second-hand and existing materials like photographs, souvenirs, and found objects, the Vietnamese-born, Denmark-raised artist often revisits topics like western colonialism, capitalism, Catholicism, sexuality, identity, and heritage in his work.
