Mimosa Echard’s debut solo exhibition, “Numbs” at Galerie Chantal Crousel highlights the artist’s focus on creating ecosystems where the living and inanimate coexist. Through the new works on view, Echard explores encounters between organic and consumer-made objects, utilizing an unusual collection of materials (like electrical wiring, acrylic lacquer, synthetic hair, flower pistils, and glass beads) to create works that intertwine ideas of human and non-human.
