On view at Dallas Museum of Art is “Moth to Cloth: Silk in Africa,’’ an installation exploring the production of silk and silk textiles in sub-Saharan African countries, such as Ghana, Nigeria, and Madagascar. The Dallas Museum of Art drew cloths from its permanent collection to create an impressively contemporary installation, both in its patterns and color palette.
