“Gratitude,” a solo exhibition by Amanda Valdez is on view at the Denny Dimin Gallery through May 15. Valdez incorporates weaving, sewing, and quilting into paintings, creating unique mixed media works of art. The show is the artist’s personal reflection on the expression of gratitude as a cure to stress, loss, and tragedy.
