A special installation of Paola Pivi’s Bear Like Me will hang in the Aspen Art Museum through August 5, coinciding with the Aspen ArtCrush Gala and Auction. Viewable by appointment only, the work—a lifesized hot pink feathered polar bear that hangs upside down from a trapeze—will also be featured in the auction, with proceeds going to benefit the museum. Working in several mediums like photography, installation, drawing, sculpture, video, and performance, Pivi’s bears are an icon of her practice, which often combines that which is familiar with strange, unusual elements.

The Parisian hotspot Silencio, originally designed by David Lynch with an outpost in Ibiza, adds New York City to its roster.
First opened in 1863, Grand Hotel et de Milan represents comfort and sophistication.
