Museum Berggruen’s “Picasso & Les Femmes d’Alger” (on view through June 20) brings together works from Pablo Picasso’s late series of the same name and presented with relevant works by other artists. Inspired by Eugène Delacroix’s famous Women of Algiers, the show features creations from Picasso’s own series, which included 15 paintings and over 100 prints and sketches created in the winter between 1954-55. Ranging in date from 1849—2010, other featured artists include names like Delacroix, Henri Matisse, and Halida Boughriet.
