“Say Can You See,” the first solo exhibition in Los Angeles by Nari Ward, is on view at Jeffrey Deitch through August 21. The exhibition title is “both a demand and a request to look deeper at what is visible as well as concealed,” said Ward. In the show, visitors can expect to see early and recent multimedia works of Ward’s that continue his exploration of materials and how trauma is dealt with both personally and through the community.
