On view at National YoungArts Foundation, “The Choreographers’ Scores: 2020” is centered on a special collection of commissioned works by 26 choreographers. For the presentation, each artist created a handmade score detailing a dance, which was then editioned as a print in collaboration with The Lapis Press. Curated by Kristy Edmunds, the CAP UCLA executive and artistic director, the presentation offers a look into the minds of these choreographers and their perspective in the extended time away from their studios and stages—featuring names like Caleb Teicher, Camille A. Brown, Rosie Herrera, and Kyle Abraham.
