The de la Cruz Collection’s 2021–2022 exhibition follows founders Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz’s idea that, “Looking towards the future, there is always one direction, challenging new forms and ideas.” Fittingly titled “There Is Always One Direction,” the presentation gives fresh context to a selection of paintings, installations, and sculptures, as well as new acquisitions. Featured artists include names like Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Wade Guyton, Rashid Johnson, Glenn Ligon, Ana Mendieta, Albert Oehlen, Gabriel Orozco, Christina Quarles, and Xaviera Simmons.
