Unit London is showing Will Martyr’s new show entitled, “You Gave Me Paradise” through July 1. In this new body of work, Martyr incorporates mysterious figures for the first time, exploring the relationship between memories, people and their environments. The show examines how our surroundings impact both our emotional states and physical needs, and how the swimming pool has become a pop-culture motif of both luxury, yet often unwanted or latent desires.
