Through August 7 in Zurich, works by the artist Thomas Ruff will fill multiple floors of Mai 36 Galerie’s spaces. Visitors will find new additions to the artist’s “Tableaux chinois” series, as well as creations dating as early as 1981, encompassing series like Ruff’s “Newspaper Photographs” from 1990, the “l.m.v.d.r.” series featuring architectural photographs, the more recent “Photograms” series, and more.
“Earth Beats" looks at the climate crisis through a selection of nature-centric artworks dating from the present-day back to the 1700s.
