During London Fashion Week fall/winter 2013–2014, Burberry gave their well known trench a significant makeover. Incorporating various different textures into the trench coat’s classic shape, from shiny croc leather to smooth synthetics, offered an upgrade to their standard raincoat and outerwear. Ladies took to the runway in buckled flats or kitten heels paired with A-line skirts and sporty tops revealing a sweet pattern of little white hearts among chocolate colored fabrics. Men opted for the same, only in a more masculine version of black-and-white, under beautifully tailored slim fitting suits. Burberry also incorporated a great deal of animal prints and grommets along with their classic colors of rich browns and khaki, creating a slight safari feel to a lovely new collection of both women’s and men’s wear.
