Jeremy Shaw: Phase Shifting Index

On view at the Centre Pompidou, “Phase Shifting Index” is Jeremy Shaw’s first major museum exhibition in France. Shaw is interested in the mapping of the human mind and mechanisms of perception as well as beliefs systems, subculture and transcend experience.

The artist created a new immersive installation in Gallery 3 of the Centre Pompidou, which clearly demonstrates his fascination for spiritual beliefs and neuroscience. On view are a range of artworks, including photographic sculptures and an immersive, seven-channel video installation, in addition to soundtracks flooding the space that unify the once independent films into synchronicity.
