Spring/Summer 2014

Milan Men’s: West African Inspired Missoni Heats Up

The Missoni men’s spring/summer 2014 collection continues to draw inspiration from the family’s artisanal knitwear heritage. Sizzling with heat, the collection consists of striped patterns, blue flannel, gradient dyed knit wear, and summer cashmere.

Partnering with expert coat makers, Hancock of Scotland, the collection introduced three outerwear pieces made from Hancock’s special rubber-coated, loom knit yarn.

Radiant fabrics and landscapes of West Africa inspired the earthy color palette of the new Missoni blue (created from the merging of indigo, ink, and midnight blue), sand, dark terracotta, clay, dark olive, khaki, sage, and forest green.
