For his fall/winter 2014-15 collection, Naeem Khan found inspiration in the sexy, dark world of the cabaret – a boudoir playground of confidence, attitude, and feminine glamour. The designer gave fresh life and modernity to this era through geometric honeycomb embroidered gowns with three-quarter sleeves, and leopard print charmeuse sheaths.
Metallics upped the glitz appeal to a silver and gold harlequin fringe cocktail dress, as well as combining ruby and silver metallic floral jacquard on a draped skirt. We must say, however, that the number one beauty we spotted on that runway was without a doubt a bottle green, miuki beaded strapless gown with coque feather trumpet skirt. Thank you, Naeem Khan, for making us desperately wish we had a red carpet to attend immediately.
