Paul Smith debuted his fall/winter 2013–14 collection during London Fashion Week with a kaleidoscope of colors for the lady that wants to impress at the office. Rich jewel tones in lots of silk and wool completed each look of business attire. Deep burgundy paired with magenta and luxurious navy-saturated roomy trousers and oversized coats were a modern take on ’90s fashion. Orange, fuschia, and garnet lent a Pop art feel to a silk blouse and tapered trouser, and a navy and cobalt blue abstract pattern found on a sharp cigarette pant were the perfect backdrop to a stark white leather bootie that gave us a dose of “wow.” Getting dressed for work just became a lot more fun.
