On view at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery is “Cambio” by Formfantasma, a radical design exhibition about wood. The exhibition brings a new approach to design and offers space to practitioners driven by the traditional disciplines of design, contemporary art and research. Included are films, objects, artefacts and samples, including specially designed furniture made from a single tree felled during storms in Italy and wood samples loaned by institutions around the world. “Cambio” also provides a re-evaluation of our relationship with trees and questions the relationship between design and sustainability.
