John Elliott

John Elliott’s Los Angeles boutique on Melrose Avenue spans 3,500 square feet to explore the brand’s history and ethos. Featuring sumptuous design offerings, the space first welcomes visitors to a utilitarian exterior. Inside, the shop pays homage to the brand’s roots, fusing references from both Tokyo and the Pacific Coast. Japanese matte white tiles cover the floor, and interior lighting intentionally mimics natural daylight temperatures to bring the sun inside. The back of the store showcases footwear and houses Japanese bamboo that can wonderfully grow in the California climate.

Whitewaller recommends: Trying on the brand’s seasonal offerings.
