John Lobb Beverly Hills.

John Lobb Beverly Hills

For John Lobb‘s first Los Angeles-based store, attention to detail is at the forefront. Designed by the French architecture studio ciguë, the boutique features a central structure that grounds the space—a built-in capsule in walnut wood and matte metal. In addition, the store’s curved sculpture displays, ceramic shelves, circular windows, and plush red seating arrangements draw customers in while attending a bespoke appointment, which is considered the foundation of the house. Next to a display of archival styles, customers can enjoy a measurement
session, which would lead to an exceptional handcrafted process. At first, the contour of the foot is sculpted by hand in hornbeam wood, then the pair of shoes are constructed in the finest leathers.

Whitewaller recommends: Shopping the limited-edition slip-on Oxford from John Lobb’s bespoke atelier in Paris, which is made available specifically for the Los Angeles store’s opening.
