Emporio Armani women's fall/winter 2014-15

Milan Fashion Week: Masculine Femininity At Giorgio Armani

For Milan Fashion Week, fall/winter 2014-15, Giorgio Armani brought us a collection for the woman that enjoys an airy tailored suit just as much as a floor-length velvet evening gown. A designer that has delivered countless classic eveningwear numbers for both men and women for decades, Armani debuted a somewhat unique line this time around with many relaxed pieces perfect for daywear. The palette was rather subdued in black and white with cold grey and turquoise splashed on roomy tailored trousers, boyfriend blazers, and knee-length bermuda shorts. Long coats were finished with raw edges, and wool long hair furs lent a bit of rebelliousness to this rather laidback, feminine meets masculine collection.

We loved the finale pieces consisting of long, black velvet dresses with white trim and stripes, especially alongside the oversize bowler style black felt hats, some covered in crystal studs. Armani was right at home with this Italian debut of yet another lovely collection for women.
